Where to Eat in Toms River

August 31, 2017

Many times when driving out of town guests from the airport to Toms River, I am asked about places in Toms River I can recommend to eat. So here is my list. I will be sure to update this as I learn of new places.

  1. Gregory's Seafood Market & Restaurant  which is about 13 minutes away from Toms River.   Head west  towards Lakehurst on 37W and Lakehurst Rd.   They are open 7 days a week, but check their site for times. Just love their Garlic Steamers..oh yeah.

  2. Toms River Ale House which is off of Hooper Ave in Toms River is a good sports bar to hang out with friends and watch some sports, and has a decent selection of beers. Can get pretty loud and fun on the weekends.

  3. We also have a Bahama Breeze  off of Hooper Ave. It is a chain restaurant but does have okay seafood and drinks. Maybe not as good as Gregory's, but it is right in Toms River.

  4. For the best pizza in Toms River I can recommend  Steverino's Pizza which is also off of Hooper Ave, and does deliver to many of the hotels in Toms River.

  5. If Diner food is your taste and budget, then I can recommend the Silverton Diner in between Brick and Tom's River on Hooper Ave.

  6. Speaking of Brick NJ, I love the Tuscany Restaurant in Brick. Great atmosphere, and Italian food. Its a little more upscale than Steverino's, and may be a good place for a romantic diner.

Well there is my short little list of places I can recommend in the Toms River Area.  If you happen to discover another place while you are visiting Toms River, please let us know.
